August 12 General Meeting
Plan Riffe Lake August
14 - 15
YUP the plans have changed
for August. We
discovered that Lower Columbia Walleye Club's Tourney is the
same days at the same place. Hey, you can go there and
compete or come with us to Riffe Lake for silvers, rainbows, and
smallies. The Walleye are tough fishin still on the Columbia due to this
weather but the fishing at Riffe has been very good. Details at the meeting
September 9 meeting
will be the "back from fishin" kickoff meeting. Donny Garrett, the new
WDFW Fisheries Biologist
will speak. Come get to know
him.
September 22 - 25 the Road Stop Project at I-5 Fife is our
major annual fund raiser and we need volunteers to man the station.
It is always fun.
We are still looking for a
member to pick up chairmanships of the clubs operating committees: Calling
Commitee, Fishout (Outings), Membership, Sportsman's Show
The club
now has a storage shed in Maple Valley thanks to Gary and Gene and members
who contributed materials. But, we need to pass a hat at the meeting
to cover the $400 of un-contributed materials bought to make it secure and
dry.
Get envolved and help in
one of the committee positions. See the Leadership Page for the
openings.
Go to WWFFC Forum for the latest information on
NWWalleye.com this site has been extra busy this season with loads of fish
