Western Washington Walleye Club P.O. Box 2183 Auburn, WA 98071-2183

Dear WWWC families,

I would like to remind you that there are several events coming out in the next few months.

The board is inviting you to join the rest of us on these outings. We have planned to have some on this side of the mountains and in Eastern Washington.I would like to summarize these events with the dates and specific place where to meet.

. Night fishing at Moses lake with James Wood, V. President, our host (July 26/27)

. Cast for Kids at Coulon Park on Lake Washington with Robert Kemmer as our contact(September 6)

."Perch Pull" at Cou!on Park on Lake Washington (September 7) with potluck and prizes
.
Banks Lake with William Maxwell as our host (September 20)
. Lake Sammanish with Bob Kemmer as our host (October 18)
. Christmas party at the Eagles in Auburn (December 11)

Please mark your calendar for these outings / events.

Membership meetings

August meeting is cancelled

Our September membership meeting will have William Maxwell refreshing our minds on the best way to catch a walleye on Banks Lake since we have the up coming outing on the 20th.

We are planning to have a guide who knows Lake Sammanish either September or October membership meeting since one of our outings is on Lake Sammanish in October.

November will be featuring our elections for officers in 2009. Nominations will be taken at the September and October meetings.

December will be our annual Christmas potluck complete with our famous lure tree, gift giving, live music and great company.

In the planning stage

My personal project is to start an annual swap meeting featuring fishing related gear only.
Plus, Bob Kemmer has brought up the idea of a chili cook-off between fishing clubs. We need some members to help with the planning for this event. I hope to have it scheduled for late October or in November. l am 1ooking for volunteers to help plan this new adventure.

I may also be calling you to ask if you can help.

Survey completion

I have enclosed is a survey for the upcoming events. I am requesting that it be completed and returned to us. The returned survey is worth one free raffle ticket. A new pole was won by one of the members who completed the last survey sent out earlier this year. Plus, we will be asking if you would like to have the New Eye e-mailed to you instead of receiving it through the mail.

No meeting in August! Go fishing in Lake Washington for perch to cook at the Perch Pull in September.

If you have any questions regarding these events, please contact me or any other board members.

Sincerely,

Wendy Wenger, president
